Manage UCR Registration

Required for all vehicles with a gross vehicle weight greater than 10,000-lbs with interstate or international commerce including 8 passenger or more for-hire and 11 passenger or more not-for-hire. The UCR (Unified Carrier Registration) registers your USDOT number with all participating states. It is required for all interstate carriers and is one of the most heavily enforced registrations. UCR fees must be paid before on the road interstate operations by a motor carrier can commence. The UCR annual renewal fees can be paid on October 1st of each year and expires every Dec 31. The registration fees are based on the number of power units (trucks) that will operate interstate (outside your home state). Trailers and intrastate only trucks can be exempted. The UCR Program requires individuals and companies that operate commercial motor vehicles in interstate or international commerce to register their business with a participating state and pay an annual fee based on the size of their fleet. This includes ALL carriers: private, exempt, or for hire.
